Improve your endurance, strength and speed in open water.

In order to get the most out of your open water training, it is important to use a lake like a giant swimming pool and do quality training sessions to improve your open water skills, endurance, strength and ultimately your speed. Richard Stannard will be delivering coached open water sessions during the summer designed to develop these areas and should you attend regularly he can guarantee you faster swim splits over the summer. 

Each session will be structured to ensure you gain as much feedback as possible and to ensure you use the time most efficiently in order to deliver quantifiable improvements. If you are serious about improving and want to develop your open water swimming we look forward to seeing you at the lake.

These sessions are suitable for most abilities however you do need to be comfortable swimming 400m continuously in open water therefore we do not recommend these sessions for novice open water swimmers. (For complete novices we recommend starting with our Novice Intro to Open Water Sessions held Tuesday evenings 7:15pm-8pm.)

2018 SESSION TIMES:     (begins 1 May 2018)

Tuesday evening: 6pm – 7pm

Thursday evening: 6pm- 7pm (every Thursday other than 24 May, 7 June, 21 June, 19 July, 16 August due to our swim race series being on these dates)

And from 15 May 2018: Tuesday mornings 6:30am-7:30am
